The Retourne is a river in France that runs through the Grand Est and Hauts-de-France regions. It rises in the municipality of Leffincourt , generally drains in a westerly direction and flows into the Aisne as a left tributary after around 45 kilometers in the municipality of Neufchâtel-sur- Aisne . Just before the mouth, the Retourne passes under the Canal latéral à l'Aisne , which accompanies the Aisne here as a side canal . On its way, the Return crosses the Ardennes and Aisne departments .
