It belongs to the Arrondissement of Rethel , the canton of Château-Porcien ( Asfeld until 2015 ) and the Pays Rethélois municipal association . The suffix "Sydney" was added to the parish name after the First World War in thanks for the help of the Australian city of the same name with the reconstruction.
