It belongs to the canton of Rethel (until 2015: canton of Novion-Porcien ) in the arrondissement of Rethel as well as to the community association Pays Rethélois .

Corny-Machéroménil is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Novy-Chevrières in the south and by the communities of Novion-Porcien in the canton of Signy-l'Abbaye in the west, Faissault on a short section in the north, Saulces-Monclin in the east and Auboncourt-Vauzelles in the southeast .

history

In 1828 the municipalities of Corny-la-Ville and Machéroménil were combined to form today's municipality of Corny-Machéroménil.
