Faissault is a French commune with 251 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Rethel , the canton Signy-l'Abbaye (until 2015 canton Novion-Porcien ) and the community association Crêtes Préardennaises .

Faissault is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Novion-Porcien on a short section in the west, Viel-Saint-Remy in the northwest, Neuvizy in the northeast, Puiseux in the southeast, Saulces-Monclin in the south and the municipality of Corny-Machéroménil in the canton of Rethel on one short section in the southwest.

The A 34 autoroute runs through the southeast of the municipality.
