geography
The municipality is located around 30 kilometers northeast of Reims in the Aisne valley . Neighboring communities are:
- Condé-lès-Herpy in the north and east,
- Château-Porcien in the southeast,
- Blanzy-la-Salonnaise in the south,
- Gomont in the southwest and
- Saint-Germainmont in the northwest.
The river Aisne and the parallel canal Canal des Ardennes are located on the southern municipal boundary . The main traffic connection is the departmental road D926, which connects the village with Condé-lès-Herpy and Gomont .
