Sorbon is a French commune with 196 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Champagne-Ardenne ). It belongs to the canton of Rethel in the arrondissement of Rethel as well as to the community association Pays Rethélois .

Sorbon is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Corny-Machéroménil in the northeast, Novy-Chevrières and Bertoncourt in the east, by the canton capital Rethel in the southeast, Barby in the southwest, Arnicourt in the west and by the municipalities of Sery and Novion in the canton of Signy-l'Abbaye .
