Sery (also: Séry ) is a French commune with 357 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Rethel and the canton of Signy-l'Abbaye (until 2015 canton of Novion-Porcien ).

Sery is about 42 kilometers north-northeast of Reims . The municipality is crossed by the Plumion River. Sery is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Wasigny in the north, Mesmont in the northeast, Novion-Porcien in the east, Sorbon in the south and southeast, Arnicourt in the south, Inaumont in the southwest, Hauteville in the west and southwest and Justine-Herbigny in the west and northwest.
