Life

Motivated by the comics collection and the covers on his father's music collection albums, Revok began creating graffiti in the 1990s . After being banned from creating more graffiti in Los Angeles after several arrests for vandalism, he moved to Detroit in 2012 . The book Revok: Made in Detroit was published in 2014 from his work in Detroit .

Arrests for vandalism

Revok has been arrested several times for vandalism based on unauthorized graffiti art. He was released on parole following his first arrest in Los Angeles in 2009. A short time later he was arrested in Australia where he was creating illegal graffiti at the airport. He was arrested again in the United States on suspicion of violating his probation requirements from his first arrest. During the subsequent house search, several hundred spray paint cans were seized, the possession of which he was forbidden according to his probation requirements.
