The Rheintal-Weg is a 520-kilometer long -distance cycle path between Constance on Lake Constance in Baden-Württemberg and Heppenheim in Hesse . Only in the southern section between Constance and Breisach is it identical to the Rhine Cycle Route on the right bank of the Rhine .

1: Hochrhein-Hotzenwald-Weg

From Konstanz to Lörrach on the Hochrhein-Hotzenwald-Weg 165 km

2: Upper Rhine-Kaiserstuhl-Weg

From Lörrach to Breisach on the Oberrhein-Kaiserstuhl-Weg 65 km

3: Upper Rhine-Kaiserstuhl-Weg / Breisgau-Weg

From Breisach to Herbolzheim on the Oberrhein-Kaiserstuhl-Weg (east route 63 km) or the Breisgau-Weg (west route 38 km)

4: Ortenau-Weg

From Herbolzheim to Ettlingen on the Ortenau-Weg 125 km

5: Bergstrasse-Rhein-Weg

From Ettlingen to Heppenheim on the Bergstrasse-Rhein-Weg 110 km

Continuation

In Hesse, the Rheintalweg is continued in Heppenheim as the Hessian long-distance cycle route R8: Westerwald - Taunus - Bergstraße .

Already from Heidelberg the cycle path "Cycle Route Die Bergstraße" runs mostly on the same route via Heppenheim to Darmstadt.
