Rica Déus
Rica Déus (* 7. February 1937 in Hamburg as Erika Scheele ) is a German actress and pop singer . After she was married several times, her name is Erika Kühne .
Life
Déus' father was an accountant, her mother an operetta singer . She graduated from high school and wanted to be an actress, but her father sent her to business school . During a vacation in 1955 on Sylt , she took part in a singing competition and won. After that, it was clear for her to become a singer. In the Hamburg pub Tabu she worked as a waitress during the day and sang for the guests in the evening. A manager, as is common in this branch, offered her his services and Rica agreed. Appearances in Hamburg's Delphi-Palast followed and in 1958 she received her first record deal from DECCA-Telefunken . Seven records were made, among others with the singer Jo Roland. Appearances in radio houses and on television followed. In June 1959 she made her first guest appearance in Kühlungsborn and Heringsdorf . In 1960 she met the musician Dieter Andreas, who played the saxophone with the Alo Koll dance orchestra . After long legal processes, she was able to part with her manager and in November 1961 moved to live with her partner Dieter in East Berlin. In 1966 and 1967 Rica Déus was on tour with Lutz Jahoda and piano humorist Hans Hick with the Panoptikum tour program .
She sang many songs on both the GDR radio and on AMIGA. She became known as the host of the television program Klock 8, aft Strom ( German television broadcasting ). She and Horst Köbbert were a permanent member of the show until 1989 and in 1973 she became a TV favorite of the GDR .
Déus lives in Berlin.
