Ricarda Budke

Ricarda Budke (* 23. February 1999 ) is a German politician of the party Alliance 90 / The Greens . She has been a member of the Brandenburg State Parliament since 2020 .

Life

After graduating from high school in 2017 at the Lise-Meitner-Gymnasium in Falkensee , Budke has been studying urban and regional planning at the Brandenburg Technical University Cottbus-Senftenberg since 2018 .

Her mother Petra Budke is also a member of parliament and chairman of the faction Alliance '90 / The Greens in the Brandenburg state parliament .

Ricarda Budke has been a member of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen since 2016. From 2016 to 2019 she was a member of the board of the Green Youth Brandenburg, most recently as spokesperson. From July 2017 to September 2017 she was district manager of her party in Havelland and election campaign manager. At the state members' assembly of the Green Youth Brandenburg on September 29, 2018, she was named as one of two candidates for the state list of the state association of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen for the upcoming state election, and at the state party conference of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Brandenburg on February 23, 2019 elected to 13th place on the state list.

From September 2019 to January 2020, Budke was a knowledgeable resident in the Committee for Construction and Transport of the City Council of Cottbus .

In the Brandenburg state election on September 1, 2019 , Budke missed the direct entry into the state parliament. Due to the mandate of resignation appointed as Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Climate deputies Axel Vogel but it acquired on January 7, 2020, the membership of the state parliament , as the front of her placed on the list of substitutes Michael Egidius Luthardt to the mandate waived.
