Ricardinho , real name Ricardo Ferreira da Silva (born September 9, 1984 in Curitiba ), is a Brazilian soccer player . The full-back won the Swedish championship title with Malmö FF in 2010, 2013 and 2014 .
Career
Ricardinho began his career in 2003 at Coritiba FC in the Brazilian Série A . In his second year in the competition team, he established himself as a regular player, but rose with the team in 2005 in the B series . Here, too, he showed good performances, so that in 2007 Atlético Mineiro signed him on loan for the state championship of Minas Gerais taking place in the spring . Since he could not prevail, he returned to his home club in the fall, with whom he rose again to the Série A at the end of the season. As a regular player, he contributed to ninth place in the first division.
After Ricardinho's contract with Coritiba FC had expired at the turn of the year, he left Brazil in January 2009 and joined the Swedish club Malmö FF . At his new club he was an immediate regular on the left side of the back four. In the 2010 season he played 22 games this season and was thus instrumental in ensuring that the team around Ulrich Vinzents , Guillermo Molins , Wilton Figueiredo and Daniel Larsson won the Lennart Johansson Cup for the Swedish championship. After the master coach Roland Nilsson moved to FC Copenhagen in the summer , rumors arose that the player would also move to Denmark, which the latter denied and suggested an extension of his contract in Sweden. At the end of September he finally signed a three-year contract. In the following years he stayed on the road to success with Malmö FF. In 2013 and 2014 he won the league title again with the club, and in the summer of 2014 he reached the group stage of the UEFA Champions League for the first time in club history .
After his contract expired at the end of 2014, Ricardinho was temporarily without a club before joining the Azerbaijani club FK Qəbələ in February 2015 . Since August 3, 2017 he has been under contract with Oxford United in the third-tier League One in England .
