Richard Bryce Goodman (* before 1974) is a sound engineer .

Life

Goodman began his career in the mid-1970s, initially working as a sound assistant on the boom . He made his debut in 1974 with the film drama Cockfighter by Monte Hellman . From the late 1970s he worked as a sound engineer. His main focus was the film, but he was also active in television productions, including eight episodes of the television series Dallas and all six episodes of The Naked Gun .

1991 he worked for Hunt for Red October , together with Richard Overton , Kevin F. Cleary and Don J. Bassman for the Oscar in the category Best Sound nominated, but the award went this year to Kevin Costner's Western Dances with Wolves . For Tom Clancy - Literaturverfilmung he was in the same year, together with Cecelia Hall , George Watters II and Don J. Bassman for the BAFTA Film Award in the category Best Sound nominated.
