Richard Donnevert (born August 2, 1896 in Mainz , † January 27, 1970 in Wiesbaden ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Life

After graduating from high school in August 1914, Donnevert took part in the First World War as a soldier . In spring 1919 he was retired from active military service as a first lieutenant. Then he began 1919 a study of dentistry , which he in 1922 at the University of Göttingen with the promotion of Dr. med. dent graduated. After completing his doctorate and license to practice medicine, he established himself as a dentist in Rotenburg an der Fulda .

In December 1930 Donnevert began to get involved with the National Socialists. He became a member of the NSDAP and the SA . From December 1931 to 1934 he was district leader of the NSDAP in Rotenburg an der Fulda, from 1934 to 1937 district administrator of the Frankenberg district . From 1937 to 1939 he was the liaison between the staff of the Deputy Leader and the Reich Ministry of War . In the SS , to which he had been a member since December 1940, he reached the rank of SS Oberführer at the end of January 1941 . After that, his SS career stalled due to excessive alcohol consumption. From March 1940 until his replacement in mid-August 1943, Donnevert was (initially acting) deputy Gauleiter of the Gaus Sudetenland of the NSDAP, but since December 1942 he had been on leave due to differences with Gauleiter Konrad Henlein . After his replacement, Donnevert worked in the party chancellery of the NSDAP and at the beginning of September 1943 for a month in the RSHA . From the beginning of May 1944 he was an honorary SS leader in the staff of the Upper Section Bohemia and Moravia. At the beginning of December 1944 he was retired.

In the Reichstag election on March 29, 1936 , he took up his position as NSDAP district leader in Hersfeld without success. On 19 August 1940 Donnevert came after replacement for Mr Josef Kraus as a deputy in the Nazi Reichstag one, where he remained until the end of the Nazi regime in the spring of 1945th
