Richard Fischer (writer)

Richard Fischer (born April 19, 1883 in Chemnitz , Saxony , † July 20, 1972 in Tutzing , Bavaria ) was a German writer .

Life

A native of Chemnitz Richard Fischer put the Abitur at the Gymnasium in Dresden from before he himself to study the German language , history and geography at the universities of Marburg , Munich , Berlin and Leipzig turned, 1911 took place its graduation to the Dr. phil.

After Fischer had served as a soldier in the First World War from 1916 to 1918 , he took up a position as a high school teacher in Dresden in 1919 . The for teacher appointee was selected for its the 1933 Nazi dismissed negative attitude from the teaching profession and moved to Bernried in Lower Bavaria . Richard Fischer, who then lived as a freelance writer, died in Tutzing in 1972 three months after reaching the age of 89.
