Richard Püttner (born January 1, 1842 in Wurzen , † November 1, 1913 in Munich ) was a German draftsman and illustrator .
He worked for various magazines and newspapers, u. a. for Die Gartenlaube , Daheim , Illustrirte Zeitung and Über Land und Meer , and also illustrated splendid works such as Our Fatherland and Rhine Cruise .
Richard Püttner was the son-in-law of the painter Heinrich Gotthold Arnold (1785-1854) and father of the painter Walter Püttner (1871-1953).
