Richard Ullrich (* 14. April 1870 in Friedeberg ; † 5. July 1930 in Berlin ) was a German engineer of the construction industry and Prussian Meliorationsbaubeamter .

Life

Richard Ullrich studied civil engineering at the Technical University Berlin-Charlottenburg . In the winter semester of 1889/90 he joined the Corps Saxonia-Berlin. After completing his studies as a Dipl.-Ing. he entered the Prussian civil service as an amelioration construction officer in the amelioration construction department of the Dill district in Dillenburg . In 1900 he was promoted from government building supervisor to government building master in engineering. In 1905 he was appointed Royal Improvement Building Inspector. In 1906 he was given the management of the melioration building office in Dillenburg. In 1909 he was transferred from Dillenburg to Gdansk as a director of the melioration building department at the local administrative authority there. In 1912 he was appointed building officer. In 1921 he, meanwhile a government and building officer, was appointed Ministerialrat in the Prussian Ministry of Agriculture, Domains and Forests . In 1929 he retired.

Ullrich was a member of the Ministerial Commission for the State Materials Testing Office in Berlin-Dahlem.

He took part in the First World War as a reserve officer . In September 1914 he was lightly wounded as a first lieutenant and company commander in the west. His last rank was major .

Awards

Richard Ullrich was awarded the Order of the Red Eagle, 4th class, in 1918 for his services to the renovation building industry in the province of West Prussia .
