The Ricker Canyon is a steep-walled and icy gorge in the west Antarctic Marie-Byrd-Land . In the Ohio Range of the Horlick Mountains , it is on the north side of the Buckeye Table between Darling Ridge and the Schulthess Buttress .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the canyon in 1962 after John F. Ricker, a geologist on a team at Ohio State University who explored the Horlick Mountains between 1961 and 1962.
