Ried is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Wallsee-Sindelburg municipality in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 in the cadastral community there were four local areas with 122 building areas on a total of 54213 m² and 158 gardens on 440997 m², in 1989/1990 there were 123 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 221, with 56 buildings in existence. In 2009/2010 there were 216 buildings on 364 construction areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 517 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 70 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 530 hectares and 86 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 511 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 92 hectares. The average soil climate in Ried is 45 (as of 2010).
