Rittman is a city in the counties of Medina and Wayne in the American state of Ohio , about 70 km south of Cleveland . The city is officially part of County Wayne, and has 6,314 inhabitants (as of the 2000 census ).
The Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery , which was opened in 2000 and is part of the United States National Cemetery , is located in Rittman .
Geography and traffic
Rittman is on Ohio State Route 57 , which is about five miles from Interstate 76 . Also, the Interstate 77 and the Interstate 71 are within 8 kilometers straight line.
The Akron Barberton Cluster Railway between Akron and Barberton reaches Rittman from Barberton via the restored tracks of the former Erie Railroad .
Cleveland Hopkins International Airport ( IATA code CLE) and Akron-Canton Regional Airport (IATA code CAK) can be reached from Rittman on the freeways within 45 minutes and 30 minutes respectively.
