Rituvík
Rituvík [ ˈɹiːtʊvʊik ] ( Danish : Ridevig ) is a place in the Faroe Islands in the south of the east coast of Eysturoy .

The village takes its name from the kittiwake ( Rissa tridactyla , Faroese : Rita ) and vík , the word for bay. Rituvík therefore means kittiwakes Bay .
The place was founded in 1873 . The current church dates from 1955 .
Runavík, the main town of the municipality, is four kilometers to the west. Six kilometers south you get to the village of Æðuvík , the southernmost place on the island.
