Saltangará
Saltangará [ ˈsaltaŋgaɹɔa ] ( Danish : Saltangerå ) is a place in the Faroe Islands in the south of Eysturoy .

Saltangará was founded in 1846 and is located on the east bank of the long Skálafjørður fjord . It is the administrative seat of the municipality. Runavík to the south and Glyvrar to the north join the elongated place .
