The Rivière Bell River flows through the Abitibi-Témiscamingue and North-du-Québec (Jamésie region) administrative regions in the Canadian province of Québec .

The river has its source in the lakes Lac Tiblemont and Lac Pascalis in Abitibi . It turns north, passes Senneterre and then takes in the waters of the tributary Rivière Mégiscane . Finally, he ends after 240 km at the village Rivière-Bell and the place Matagami in the lake Lac Matagami . Its outflow is the Rivière Nottaway , which flows to James Bay . The Rivière Bell River has a catchment area of 22,222 km². There are countless rapids along its course. The large islands of Canica and Bancroft are near the estuary.
