Rivne (Ukrainian Рівне ; Russian Ровное / Rownoje , Polish Rovno ) is a village in the western Ukraine in the Oblast Volyn , Liuboml Raion of Rajonshauptstadt about 16 kilometers west Lyuboml and 118 kilometers northwest of the Oblasthauptstadt Lutsk on the river Bystrjak located (Бистряк).
On July 18, 2017, the village became the center of the newly established rural community of Rivne (Ukrainian Рівненська сільська громада / Riwnenska silska hromada ). At that includes also the 16 villages Borowe (Борове) Budnyky (Будники) Horochowyschtsche (Гороховище) Huschtscha (Гуща) Lokutky (Локутки) Mylowan (Миловань) Nowouhruske (Новоугрузьке) Pidlissja (Підлісся) Polapy , Rohowi Smoljary (Рогові Смоляри) Sabuschschja (Забужжя) Sokil (Сокіл) Starowojtowe , Stolynski Smoljary (Столинські Смоляри) Werbiwka (Вербівка) and Wyschniwka (Вишнівка), previously formed the village together with the villages Borowe and Starowojtowe the same Landratsgemeinde .
history
The place originated in the 18th century and until 1793 belonged to the aristocratic republic of Poland-Lithuania in the Ruthenia / Chełmer Land voivodeship . With the partitions of Poland , the place fell to the Russian Empire and was in the Volhynia governorate until the end of the First World War .
After the First World War the place became part of Poland (in the Voivodeship of Volyn , Powiat Luboml , Gmina Huszcza ), during the Second World War it was occupied by the Soviet Union between 1939 and 1941 . After the attack on the Soviet Union in June 1941, it was occupied by Germany until 1944 , this divided the place into the Reichskommissariat Ukraine in the general district Brest-Litowsk / Volhynien-Podolia , district Luboml .
After the war, the place was added to the Soviet Union. There the village came to the Ukrainian SSR and since 1991 it has been part of today's Ukraine.
