The village of Roßhaupten is a district of the municipality of Haibach in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen. It is located about two and a half kilometers west of Haibach and east of the SR 4 district road , which marks the municipal boundary between Haibach and Haselbach in the Irschenbach district .
The hamlet of Roßhaupten is part of the Haselbach community in the Straubing-Bogen district in Lower Bavaria. It is located about two and a half kilometers north of Haselbach in the immediate vicinity of the village of Roßhaupten and west of the SR 4 district road. In the 1987 census, it was not yet listed as a district of Haselbach.

The western part of Roßhaupten only came to Haselbach through an area swap together with Dietersdorf from Haibach. In return, Haibach received the southern part of Dammersdorf .
