Dammersdorf is a place in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen on the southern slope of the Gallner . It is divided into the area of the communities Haselbach and Haibach .

geography

Geographical location

Dammersdorf lies on the southern slope of the Gallner Berg. The historical part is located in a hollow of the Blumergraben on the SR 13 district road between Herrnfehlburg and Irschenbach . A younger part of the village is further northwest in the Flur Im Weinberg Feld, east of the road to Gallner . Dammersdorf is at a distance (as the crow flies ) to the center of Haselbach of around four kilometers and to the center of Haibach of three kilometers.

structure

The official register of places knows two places with this name in the immediate vicinity. These are the hamlet of Dammersdorf , a district of the Haselbach community north of the SR 13 district road, and the desert Dammersdorf , a district of the Haibach community in the Irschenbach district south of the SR 13 district road.

Neighboring places

Neighboring towns are Hacksberg , Seemuck , Froschau , Irschenbach , Gallner , Oberweinberg and Herrnfehlburg .

climate

Three vineyards are mentioned in a document from 1184. Field names such as Im Weinberg Feld also indicate earlier viticulture.

history

Earlier forms of names

Tiemannesdorf, Tichmannasdorf, Temannesdorf, Teimanstorf, Demastorf, Dammerstorff and Thamersdorf are said to have been used as earlier forms of the name and the place name is said to be based on the personal name Teutman .

development

The earliest documentary mention (of Tiemannesdorf ) took place in 1105. A document from 1274 describes the ownership of the Oberalteich monastery and reports on a villa in Teimanstorf. The land register around 1430 lists: manor, 1 courtyard, 2 hubs , 1 fiefdom , 1 Sölde . In the Hofanlagsbuch from 1760 5 properties under the rule of Hofmark Irschenbach and other properties of Hofmark Oberalteich are mentioned.

division

The southern part of Dammersdorf came from the municipality of Haselbach to the municipality of Haibach through an area swap. In return Haselbach received the place Dietersdorf and the western parts of Roßhaupten . The southern part of Dammersdorf, now Haibach, is already shown in the first photo from 1808-1864 with two residential buildings at the same location, so it belongs to the historical part of Dammersdorf.
