Rob Stewart (2009)

Rob Stewart (born July 23, 1961 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a Canadian actor . He was best known for his participation in the television series Tropical Heat and Painkiller Jane .

Life

At the age of 17, Rob Stewart sustained a serious injury while playing ice hockey, as a result of which he lost a kidney and thus prevented a further sports career. He then hired himself as a guitar player and singer and studied Latin and English at the University of Waterloo . After a few mini jobs, he made his debut as an actor in a remake of the Alfred Hitchcock Presents series in 1988 . From 1991 to 1993 he portrayed Nick Slaughter in the Tropical Heat series . He also directed several episodes. He then played in several TV series and films. He played other leading roles in the series Amazonas - Prisoners of the Jungle (1999-2000) and Painkiller Jane (2007).
