Robert Arthur Douglass Ford
Robert Arthur Douglass Ford (born January 8, 1915 in Ottawa , Canada , † April 12, 1998 in Vichy ) was a Canadian ambassador .
Life
Ford graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Masters of Arts degree in English Literature and History in 1938 and joined the foreign service in 1940. From 1980 to 1988 he headed the International Institute of Geopolitics at the Sorbonne .
