Robert Carl "Bob" stamp (born July 15, 1933 in Trenton , New Jersey , † May 7, 2011 in West Palm Beach , Florida ) was an American industrial manager and from 1980 to 1982 chairman of the Adam Opel AG .

Life

Stempel was CEO of General Motors (GM). He joined General Motors in 1958. From September 1980 to February 1982 he was CEO of Adam Opel AG . In 1982 he returned to Detroit as General Manager of Chevrolet .
