Life
Robert Charles Evans received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Providence on July 2, 1973 through the rector of the Pontifical North America College , Bishop James Aloysius Hickey .
On October 15, 2009 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Aquae Regiae and auxiliary bishop in Providence. The Bishop of Providence, Thomas Joseph Tobin , ordained him episcopal on December 15 of that year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Burlington , Salvatore Ronald Matano , and the Bishop Emeritus of Providence, Louis Edward Gelineau .
