Robert Count of Terlago

Robert Graf von Terlago (born October 1, 1842 , † July 7, 1927 at Terlago Castle in Terlago ) was an Austrian politician from Tyrol . For decades he sat in the parliaments of Cisleithania . 1877–1885 and 1891–1907 he was a liberal member of the Reichsrat of the large estates loyal to the constitution .

Life

Count Terlago studied at the University of Innsbruck and became active in the Corps Rhaetia in 1860 . As a large landowner, he was the state of and in Tyrol. In 1877 he was elected to the 2nd electoral body by the Reichsrat (Austria) . The swearing in was on October 19, 1877. The mandate was defended in the 1879 Reichsrat election. Retired in 1885, he returned to parliament in the 1891 Reichsrat election. The mandate was defended in the Reichsrat election in 1897 and the Reichsrat election in 1901 . From 1873 Count Terlago kk was treasurer in Trento. In October 1879 he was a member of the Liberal Club in the House of Representatives. He was a member of the German Liberal Party and was appointed to the Herrenhaus (Austria) for life in 1912 at the age of 70 .

He was married to Freiin Sophia geb. von Thienen-Adlerflycht (1844–1917). The daughters Countess Luisa Franziska von Terlago (born August 12, 1869) and Bianka Karoline Julie von Terlago emerged from the marriage. Luisa married the later lieutenant colonel Count Eberhard Schenk von Stauffenberg (1866-1917).
