Robert Lichter (born December 21, 1884 in Ließem ; † January 23, 1950 ibid) was a German farmer and politician ( CDU ).

Life

After graduating from primary school in 1897, Lichter attended a secondary school in Belgium until 1900 . From 1901 to 1902 he received practical training at the agricultural school in Neuerburg and then worked as a farmer in the Eifel . After participating in the First World War, he ran an agricultural business in Ließem.

Lichter was a board member of the CDU district association Bitburg. After the constitution of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate , he was elected as a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament for the Trier administrative district in the first state election in 1947 . In Parliament he was a member of the Agricultural Policy Committee, the Borderland Committee, the Legal Committee and the Committee on Rules of Procedure. After his death, Josef Georg Gotthardt took over his state parliament mandate as a successor.

Robert Lichter was married to Regina, b. Heinzen.
