Robert Schweizer

Robert Karl Werner Schweizer (born May 16, 1938 in Stuttgart ) is a German lawyer and university professor .

After graduating from high school in Korntal in 1958, he studied law and political science as well as (not completed) economics in Munich and Lausanne from 1958 to 1963 . In 1963 he passed the first state examination in law and completed his legal clerkship from 1963 to 1967 . In 1965 the doctorate to Dr. jur. with Murad Ferid at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich on the subject: “The case law of the Bavarian Supreme Court in the field of international private law ”. In 1967 he passed the Great State Examination in Law . He then worked as a legal advisor at Allianz from 1967 to 1968 . From 1968 to 1971, Schweizer headed the legal department of Spaten-Franziskaner Bräu . From 1971 to 1974 he was a member of the Infratest management team, where he was solely responsible for the finance / administration / law department. It was founded in 1972 as a lawyer admitted and with the consent of Infratest not active partner of the law firm "Swiss Wenninger". From 1972 to 2004, Schweizer was a member of the board of directors of the International Legal Library at the Institute for Comparative Law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich.
