Robert Wachs

Robert Wachs (born July 16, 1921 in Tilsit , East Prussia , † March 11, 1989 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Robert Wachs first attended a middle school and later a commercial vocational school . In 1940 he passed the examination as a clerk . After the Second World War , in 1948 he became an independent businessman and owner of his company in the field of communications technology . In 1949 he joined the CDU. In the Berlin election in 1967 , Wachs was elected to the District Assembly (BVV) in the Schöneberg district. Since Siegfried Zimmer was elected to the district councilor in Schöneberg, Wachs moved up to the Berlin House of Representatives in July 1978 . In the subsequent election in 1979 he was re-elected to BVV Schöneberg. Two years later, in June 1981, he moved up again to the House of Representatives, as Werner Dolata became a member of the Bundestag. In January 1989, Wachs left parliament.
