Rodney Nuckey (born June 26, 1929 in Wood Green , London , † June 29, 2000 in Manila ) was a British automobile racing driver .

Career

Rodney Nuckey celebrated his first successes in motorsport at Formula 3 races in Great Britain and Scandinavia with a Cooper - Norton in the early 1950s. In 1953 he switched to a Formula 2 Cooperative Bristol and with the new racing car was third in the Gran Premio di Siracusa , fourth in the London Trophy in Crystal Palace and fifth in the Eifel race .

The Cooper T23 was fast enough to compete in the 1953 German Grand Prix . Nuckey finished eleventh.
