Rodoč is a settlement of Mostar , it is located south of the city, which makes it a suburb.

history

During the Bosnian War of the 1990s, the Serbian forces temporarily occupied the southern parts of the city of Mostar, including Rodoč. They burned down about 80% of the houses. Many people were either killed or taken to camps, mostly in Bileća or Montenegro. Some people in Montenegro have been prosecuted as war criminals for torture in camps in Montenegro. After the liberation of the southern parts of the city and Rodoc, many people returned to their homes.

Camp Heliodrom

Between September 1992 and April 1994, the Heliodrom internment camp operated by the HVO was in Rodoč.
