Rodrigo Frank Pereira (born February 28, 1981 in Pontal ) is a former Brazilian - Italian football player .
Career
Pereira played for FC Santos until 2004 . In summer 2004 he moved to Guarani FC . In January 2005 he joined the Austrian regional division FC Waidhofen / Ybbs . For the 2007/08 season he was awarded to the second division club SV Bad Aussee . He made his debut in the second division in August 2007 when he came on as a substitute for Alexander Neuper on the sixth day of that season against SC Schwanenstadt in the 78th minute . In November 2007, he scored his first goal in the second-highest division in a 2-0 win against DSV Leoben . By the end of the loan he made 26 appearances for Bad Aussee in the second division, in which he scored three goals. At the end of the season, however, he rose with the club in the regional league .
After the loan ended, he returned to Waidhofen and was able to become champions of the Regionalliga Ost with the club in 2010. For the 2010/11 season, Pereira moved to the second division First Vienna FC , where he received a contract that ran until June 2011. For the capital club, he completed 17 games in the second division and scored two goals. After half a year at Vienna, he moved to Switzerland in January 2011 for third division club SC Zofingen . In the first division he came to twelve missions for Zofingen.
For the 2011/12 season, Pereira moved to Malta for FC Birkirkara . For Birkirkara he came to 27 appearances in the Maltese Premier League , in which he scored three goals. In August 2012, he left the club again after having failed with the Maltese in qualifying for the UEFA Europa League in the first round at FK Metalurg Skopje . After several months without a club, he returned to Birkirkara in November 2012 and completed another 15 league games for the club. At the end of the season he was champion with Birkirkara. For the 2013/14 season he moved to league rivals FC Balzan . After eleven appearances for Balzan in the Premier League, he returned to Brazil in February 2014 and moved to Sertãozinho FC . With Sertãozinho he took part in the third highest division of the state championship of São Paulo in the 2014 season and played eleven games there.
In July 2014, Pereira moved back to Austria and joined the fifth-rate Dornbirner SV . With Dornbirn, he was promoted to the Vorarlberg League at the end of the 2014/15 season . After a total of 52 appearances in the fourth and fifth highest division, Pereira moved to SV Gaflenz in January 2017 . After a year and 20 appearances in the regional league , he left the club during the winter break of the 2017/18 season. After one and a half years without a club, he joined the eight-class FCU Ertl for the 2019/20 season . For Ertl, he played eleven games in the 2nd class until he dropped out of the league . He left the club after the 2019/20 season.
