Rodrigo Mieres , full name Rodrigo Gastón Mieres Pérez , (born April 19, 1989 in Paysandú ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
The 1.90 meter tall defensive player Mieres is the brother of Eduardo Mieres . He belonged in the 2009/10 season to the Defensor Sportings squad , from whose youth department he emerged, in the Primera División and was used in a league game. In 2011, according to other sources already in 2010, a loan to the second division club Atlético Rentistas followed . With the club he rose as a master of the Segunda División in the Primera División. In the last game of the season he broke his tibia and fibula and was then out longer. For the 2011/12 season he returned to Defensor, but was not used in the Primera División. In July 2012 he was transferred to Central Español . There he completed ten league games in the Apertura 2012 (no goal). At the beginning of 2013 he switched to Toledo Colônia Work in Brazil as part of a loan deal . In Paranaense 1 he ran eight times and scored one goal until his return to Central Español in July 2013. For the Apertura 2013 he joined the first division promoted Sud América . He played 13 league games and scored one goal. In January 2014 Mieres moved to Deportivo Cuenca as part of a loan deal . The Ecuadorians recorded 34 league games and one goal for him in 2014. In January 2015, he joined the Argentine club Atlético Tucumán on loan . There are 16 appearances (one goal) in the Primera B Nacional and one (no goal) in the Copa Argentina for him. At the beginning of 2016, he returned to Sud América and played three top division games (no goal) for the club by the end of the round. In mid-July 2016, he moved to Central Córdoba . So far (as of July 16, 2017) he has played 37 times in the Primera B Nacional and scored two goals.
National team
Mieres was part of the Uruguayan U-20 selection at the U-20 World Cup in Egypt in 2009 . During the World Cup tournament he was not used.
