Roeder is the name of a Silesian postal aristocracy from Lower Franconia .

The gender is not to be confused with the Anhaltinian von Röder (Roeder) of the same name , the von Roeder from Vogtland and the original noble family of the Roeder von Diersburg from Baden .

history

The family appears in a document in 1561 with the Ganerbian mayor Hans Roedder with the acquisition of a property in Rödelsee .

The Prussian Major General Heinrich von Roeder (1742–1821) has been appearing as "von Roeder" since 1761 and was counted as being among the Prussian nobility. Many of his descendants held high ranks in the Prussian Army .

The coat of arms shows in silver an uprooted black oak stump with three green-leafy (5: 3: 5) branches. On the helmet with black and silver helmet covers a five-pointed gold star between an open black flight .
