The Rokytka is a right tributary of the Vltava in the Czech Republic .

The Rokytka rises on the southwestern outskirts of Tehovec in the Středočeská pahorkatina . Its source is to the east of the Jedlina hill (466 m nm). On its northwestern headwaters, the Rokytka flows past Vojkov, Lada, Olivovna, Říčany and Strašín through a forest area in which it is crossed by the state road I / 2 between Říčany and Kostelec nad Černými Lesy , and the Jureček pond into the Pražská plošina ( Prague plateau ) to Radošovice. At the north-western exit of the village, the stream is dammed in the Rybník u Radošovic pond. The Rokytka then flows into the urban area of Prague . The stream running past Pacov and Nedvězí is protected as a PR Mýto nature reserve ; the valley of the Rokytka between Pacov, Nedvězí, Křenice , Královice, Netluky, Svatá Markéta and Hájek was also declared a nature park Rokytka in 1990 on 136.5 ha. At Svatá Markéta, the Rokytka is dammed in the “Markéta” reservoir. Below Hájek the brook leaves the nature park and flows northwards at Stupice through the Koloděj game reserve, where it is dammed in the V Oboře pond. The further course of the Rokytka leads past the castle and the village of Koloděje and Újezd ​​nad Lesy to Běchovice . There the stream changes direction again to the northwest, and the Česká Třebová – Praha railway line runs through its valley . Between Nová Dubeč and Vinice, the Rokytka at Praha-Běchovice station is bridged by the Prague Ring and then dammed in Počernický rybník. The pond and its banks are protected as a PR Počernický rybník nature reserve and part of the 907.7 hectare Klánovice-Čihadla nature park. On the further course of the Rokytka are Dolní Počernice , Jahodnice, Hostavice, Černý Most and Jiráskova čtvrť. After that, the stream between Kyje, Aloisov and Hloubětín in Kyjský rybník is dammed. Below the pond, the Rokytka leaves the Klánovice-Čihadla Nature Park and flows in a south-westerly direction into the Smetanka Nature Park. Between Hrdlořezy, Zelené Město and Vinice, the Rokytka flows around the Smetanka (242 m nm) in a hairpin bend, then heads east and feeds the Hořejší rybník pond. At the Hloubětín Castle, the stream flows past the PP Pražský zlom natural monument and leaves the Smetanka Nature Park. In another bend in the river between Kejřův Mlýn, Hloubětín and Zahrady, the Rokytka turns west again. The lower Rokytka flows between Vysočany , Harfa, Nová Harfa, Prosek , Na Hájku and Na Kotlasce to Libeň . After 36.2 km, the Rokytka flows into the Vltava below the Libeň Castle in the Vltava loop on the right side of the Liebener Insel in the port of Libeň in Prague. 31.5 kilometers of the river are located in the city of Prague.
