Praha- Běchovice (German Biechowitz ) is a district in the east of Prague . Together with Újezd ​​nad Lesy ( Aujest am Walde ), Klánovice and Koloděje ( Kolodei ) it belongs to the Prague 21 administrative district .

geography

Běchovice is located east of Dolní Počernice, south of Svépravice, west of Újezd ​​and north of Koloděje and Dubeč. The Ritschaner Bach and Biechowitzer Bach flow here into the Rokytka tributary of the Vltava .

history

In 1754 a station of the kk post office was built here. In 1845 the railway line of the Imperial and Royal Northern State Railway was put into operation. There was a massacre at the train station on June 17, 1848.

In 1974 the place was incorporated into Prague.

traffic

To the west of the district there is a junction between the road I / 12 ( coming from Český Brod ) and the Prague city motorway ring ( Dálnice 0 ). The station is located on the Česká Třebová – Praha railway line . There are also three bus stops.
