Štěrboholy (German Sterbohol ) is a district and a cadastral municipality of the Czech capital Prague . Štěrboholy belongs to the 15th administrative district and was originally an independent municipality, which was incorporated into Prague in 1968.

Štěrboholy lies between two arterial roads to Kutná Hora and Kolín .

history

Štěrboholy is mentioned in 1371 as a manor in the archbishopric possession.

The Battle of Prague took place in Štěrboholy in 1757 . The crossed swords in the coat of arms refer to this event.
