Rolan Lenard Milligan (* 16th August 1994 in Lake Wales , Florida ) is an American American football poker players. He plays in the position of safety with the Indianapolis Colts in the National Football League (NFL).

Career

In 2013, Milligan attended Reedley College , where he scored 44 tackles , three interceptions, and two captured fumbles . In 2014 he moved to the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where he scored 54 tackles. After UAB announced that it would suspend its football program, he moved to the Toledo Rockets from the University of Toledo . Here he scored 48 tackles, two interceptions and three forced fumbles as a senior .

After Milligan was not selected in the NFL Draft , the Dallas Cowboys signed him on April 30, 2016 . He was released during the training camps.

Milligan was signed by the Detroit Lions on February 9, 2017 . On September 2, 2017, he was dismissed as part of the final squad reduction. A day later, however, he was re-signed for the Practice Squad . On November 27, 2017, he was appointed to the active squad, but released after two weeks. On January 1, 2018, Milligan was rewired. As in the previous year, he was dismissed on September 1, 2018 as part of the final downsizing of the squad. The following day, the Lions recruited Milligan for the Practice Squad. He was released by him three days later. On October 3, 2018, Milligan was recruited for the Practice Squad. He was released on October 6, 2018.

On October 23, 2018, the Indianapolis Colts enlisted Milligan for their Practice Squad. On December 22, 2018, he was promoted to the active squad. He was released on December 28, 2018. On December 31, 2018, the Colts recruited Milligan for the Practice Squad. On January 9, 2019, he was named to the active squad for the Colts divisional play-off game. After initially making the jump to the 53-man squad for the 2019 season, he was fired two days after the downsizing. Subsequently, however, the Colts signed Milligan for their Practice Squad. On September 11, 2019, he was appointed to the active squad. Milligan then played in eleven games, including a start, scoring ten tackles. On December 18, 2019, he was placed on the Injured Reserve List before Matchday 16 . At the end of March 2020, he signed a new contract with the Colts. Before the start of the season, Milligan took advantage of the option to opt out due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
