There he became the regular force in midfield and fought with his club to stay in the class. At the beginning of 1995 there was the opportunity for him to move to record champions Steaua Bucharest . There he only made three appearances in the second half of the 1994/95 season , but won his first title with the 1995 championship. A year later , he and his team were able to repeat this success. In the same season, the 1996 Cup victory jumped out. In the 1996/97 season , the third championship in a row followed.

In the fall of 1997 Nagy moved to Germany for the then second division club 1. FSV Mainz 05 . In the 1998/99 season he was loaned to FSV Frankfurt in the Regionalliga Süd . After his return in the summer of 1999, he only came on two more missions for the Mainz team, before moving to SV Darmstadt 98 again in the Regionalliga in January 2000 . With his new club he qualified for the two-track regional league in the summer of 2000. In the summer of 2002 he returned to Romania to UTA Arad, which was now playing in Divizia A. After relegation in 2003 , he played another season with Tricotaje Ineu in Divizia B before ending his career.
