Roland Kerschbaum

Roland Peter Kerschbaum (born January 9, 1968 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian clergyman and art historian .

Roland Kerschbaum studied Catholic theology in Salzburg and Innsbruck and was ordained a priest in 1995 by Archbishop Georg Eder . Kerschbaum has been a pastor in Elsbethen since 2001 and also studied art history and history. With 2003 Honorary Canon in Mattsee Abbey , he was elected canon by Kapitel in 2008 and confirmed by Archbishop Alois Kothgasser . Since 2006 Kerschbaum has been teaching Christian art and diocesan history at the theological faculty of the University of Salzburg. In 2011 he became the diocesan curator of the Archdiocese of Salzburg , succeeding Johannes Neuhardt .
