Rolando Joven Tria Tirona OCD (born July 22, 1946 in Kawit , Philippines ) is Archbishop of Caceres .

Life

Rolando Joven Tria Tirona joined the order of the Discalced Carmelites , made his profession in 1967 and was ordained a priest on April 21, 1974 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Vulturaria and auxiliary bishop in Manila on November 15, 1994 . The Archbishop of Manila, Jaime Lachica Cardinal Sin , ordained him episcopal on December 29th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Julio Xavier Labayen OCD, Prelate of Infanta , and Teodoro J. Buhain , auxiliary bishop in Manila.

On December 14, 1996, John Paul II called him Bishop of Malolos and on June 28, 2003, Prelate of Infanta. He took up this office on August 27 of the same year.

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on September 8, 2012 Archbishop of Caceres.
