Rolf Hüttel
Rolf Hüttel (* 1934 ) is a German officer ( Lieutenant General retired).
Life
After graduating from high school and studying for a job, Hüttel joined the armed forces in 1957 . After that he was used as an officer in the tank grenadiers . From 1975 to 1977 he continued his education at the Science and Politics Foundation (SWP). In 1977 he joined the NATO military committee in Washington, DC. From 1979 to 1982 he worked on the command staff of the armed forces (Fü S) in Bonn. From 1982 to 1984 he was in command of the 13th Panzer Grenadier Brigade . From 1984 he worked again in the Federal Ministry of Defense (BMVg). From 1989 to 1992 he was the German military representative at the NATO military committee. In 1992 he became head of the planning staff of the Federal Minister of Defense (PlStab) Volker Rühe in Bonn.
