Roman Iwanowytsch Hladysch ( Ukrainian Роман Іванович Гладиш ; born October 12, 1995 in Lviv ) is a Ukrainian cyclist who competes on track and road .

Athletic career

In 2013, Roman Hladysch became vice-European junior champion in two-man team driving , together with Wladislaw Kreminski . In 2014 he became Ukrainian team pursuit champion , the following year he won three national titles, in team pursuit, scratch and omnium . After winning bronze at the U23 European championships in two-team driving with Vitaly Hryniw in 2017 , he also took bronze in the scratch at the European championships in Berlin, his first podium at international elite championships. A few weeks later, he finished third in the Omnium at the Track Cycling World Cup in Santiago de Chile . In 2018 he became European Scratch Champion in Glasgow . Then he won the scratch competition in the fourth round of the World Cup .
