Romuald Kujawski
Romuald Maciej Kujawski ( Portuguese Romualdo Matias Kujawski , born January 24, 1947 in Poznań ) is a Polish clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Porto Nacional in Brazil.
Life
The Archbishop of Poznan , Antoni Baraniak SDB , ordained him on May 24, 1973 .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on July 2, 2008 Coadjutor Bishop of Porto Nacional. The Archbishop of Palmas , Alberto Taveira Corrêa , gave him episcopal consecration on August 15th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Patrick Hoogmartens , Bishop of Hasselt , Stanisław Gądecki , Archbishop of Poznan , and Geraldo Vieira Gusmão , Bishop of Porto Nacional. His motto State in Fide ("Stand firm in the faith") comes from Paul's first letter to the Corinthians ( 1 Cor 16:13 EU ).
With Geraldo Vieira Gusmão's retirement on November 4, 2009, he succeeded him in the office of Bishop of Porto Nacional.
