Life

There she won her first fight against the Uzbek Zinnura Joʻraeva . In the round of 16 she lost to Misato Nakamura , then in the consolation round against Ilse Heylen from Belgium and was eliminated. At the 2009 World Championships in Rotterdam , Tarangul won the bronze medal by beating the Chinese He Hongmei in the small final .
In April 2012 Tarangul won the bronze medal at the European Championships in Chelyabinsk , with which the Frankfurt native secured participation in the Olympic Games in London . There she reached the second round, in which she was eliminated against the Italian Rosalba Forciniti .
